Shaping Intention
Singular, holy intentions…how we do find them? Could be it makes sense to take a stark and simple approach: staying open and noticing what happens in mind and life, what feels right and true, what has a subtle feeling of being of course. Or it could involve more in the way of tricks and tools: paying attention to dreams, using techniques of divination like the I Ching or Tarot, praying, automatic writing. Special meditations. The list goes on.
The prerequisite step is a leap of faith: to be open to the possibility that life has an intelligence which is working in your best interests. In other words, that life is not an implacable thing from which we have to fight to extract some joy and meaning. That instead, we are not separate from life; that by attuning to and aligning with its flow, we can find our way into some version of peace and fulfilment.
